FSKA West London Training day
The cost of the session per student is £30.
The German School, Douglas House, Petersham Road, Richmond, TW10 7AH 
Due to the huge past successes of the KUMITE TRAINING DAYS we have had (Kumite is the fighting/sparring side of karate, we practice semi-contact karate), I will be holding another one for ALL STUDENTS on the 7th March 2010. Please ensure that you/your child attends this training session. We will be entering a few local competitions in the first half of this year and of course going to Poland in September, and these days not only boost the students’ confidence but also give them experience for competitions.

Layout of the day:
9am: All brown and black belt students over 11 years old arrive for the set-up
10am: All white belt – blue belt children register
10.30am – 12.30pm:Training Session for white-blue belt children
1pm – All adults and Green belt and above students arrive
1.30pm – 4.30pm: Training session for all students.


Tuesday 16th March 2010

Training with Shihan Kenneth Funakoshi.  Cost blue and green belts £25, others £30

The head of our style Shihan Kenneth Funakoshi (flying in from the USA) will be running a training seminar at Heathfield Infant School, Cobbett Road, Whitton, TW2 6EN. Blue belts and above will arrive at school at 5pm for registration. Training will be from at 5.30-.7.30pm. Purple belts and above will stay until 8.30pm

All students from blue belt and above should attend this session. Shihan Funakoshi is one of the most highly respected instructors in the world, and this is a fantastic opportunity to train with him. He is also the instructor that grades all black belts internationally.

Annual Grading and prize giving

To be held at the German School, Douglas House, Petersham Road, Richmond, TW10 7AH 
Lower grades in morning and from blue belt and above will be in the afternoon. All adults will train and grade in the afternoon.

Other tournaments

All students will be invited to attend the following tournaments, it is very important that all students going to Poland to try attend all three. Entry forms will be given out mid-March 2010.

8th May Shotokan International Tournament in Guildford
23rd May Tolworth Karate Tournament
6th June Seaford Shotokan Tournament, Seaford

Our Fund Raising committee has set up a separate website that you can all join to get information on Poland. Please feel free to contact us if you have not already should you wish for your child to attend. Children of ALL grades and AGES can attend. In the near future all the tournament registration forms will be added to this site.
