Student of the month

September 2009 - Eva West and Hannah Marwood

This month, we have two Students of the Month, mother and daughter Eva West and Hannah Marwood.
Eva West and Hannah Marwood Hannah, 6, started karate in September 2008 and is a yellow belt.  The FSKA World Championships in Sun City was her first competition.  She did very well, winning a gold in the 6-8 year old beginners team kata (with her brother Tom, and Spike King), a gold in the individual kata, and a silver in the individual kumite. 

Eva will not divulge her age, but started karate in January 2008 and is a blue belt.  She also competed in Sun City and won gold with Sempai Lisa Coster and Jonathan Hubble in the adults mixed team kata, gold in the individual kata and gold in the individual kumite. 

They are both based at the Kew Dojo.
